Purchasing officer／senior officer (Global Food Sourcing／health supplement)

Purchasing Dept.

• Meet overseas suppliers (occasionally contact suppliers during overseas time zone);
• Travel to overseas (worldwide, 2-3 times per year),source and audit new suppliers;
• Maintain existing SKU stock replenishment;
• Explore new products according to market need.

• Demonstrates commitment by accommodating overtime when necessary Enthusiasm for food, sensitive to food market trend;
• Talk to overseas partners and learn product knowledge and share to customers;
• As supportive role in business trips with superior teammates;
• Welcome to explore different part of the world during business trips and interaction with suppliers.

• Handle sourcing, price negotiation, payment terms, PO, Shipping Documents, order follow up as well as payment arrangement , etc;
• Communicate between with suppliers and production teams;
• Maintain current product supply and ensure in stable quality;
• Liaise with factories for production schedule & quality checking;
• Handle shipping Documents, Delivery Control;
• Internal communication with warehouse for stock management, food quality control, etc.

• 3 years’ work experience, preferably in sales or trading, purchasing office, food industry;
• Prefer major retail or wholesale experience in one of following categories:
  • OEM health supplement
  • Frozen meat and seafood
  • Wine
• Degree holder, preferably in Business administration, supply chain, food science disciplines;
• In-depth knowledge in EXCEL; with ERP experience, data analytic skill;
• Able to work multi-tasks under pressure and deliver on schedule;
• Self-motivated, positive, energetic and keen on learning;
• Must hold a valid driving license (Hong Kong and IDP) and able to drive overseas
• Good adaptability to different and fast-changing company/procurement policies is a plus;
• Disciplinary and honest team player.
