Assistant Microbiologist / Microbiologist

Laboratory Dept.

• Handle routine microbiological test (food & environmental samples);
• Maintain and improve laboratory housekeeping;
• Be responsible for the quality of work produced by the laboratory and to ensure the quality management system in compliance to ISO 17025 standard;
• To handle the daily operations matters, technical tasks, and answer technical enquiries to related parties;
• Test results preparation and checking;
• Assist in studying latest food regulatory requirement and provide suggestions;
• Assist in developing food safety system / quality control activities such as ISO 22000, food label, compliance guideline;
• Occasionally work on holidays (5-day work per week).

• Higher Diploma, Degree or above in microbiology, biology, biochemistry, pharmacology, food science or relevant subjects;
• Knowledge in microbiological testing on food, pharmaceutical products is highly preferred;
• Candidates with more experience and qualifications will be considered as Microbiologist;
• Careful & engaged personality with detail minded;
• Self-motivated and keen on learning;
• Strong team player and communicator;
• Disciplinary, punctual.
